Workshop series "Reinforcement learning fundamentals"

In several iterations of this workshop at TNG (more are planned for the future), my TNG colleagues Johannes Flommersfeld, Jonathan du Mesnil de Rochement, Daniel Hirsch, and me gave a theoretical introduction to the concepts behind reinforcement learning (RL) and contrasted that with implementing and training own RL agents with Stable Baselines3 and Gymnasium. By the end of the workshop, participants had a solid understanding of the theoretical concepts underlying RL and the practical skills to implement an RL training suite in real-world applications.
